natural fibers and synthetic, wash together?

Okay, we just started using the BG 4.0 for nightime (they're working great and he's not waking up chilly from his super soaker capabilities). But, we only use them for night and the one day a week he goes to a sitter. The BG instructions said not to wash them with natural fibers. This is a huge pain tho' b/c it means our 6 BG have to be washed seperately and we only use 1 a day (except for the 3 or so at the sitters). Why is this, and will I hurt these diapers if I just wash them with our prefolds and thirstie/bummi covers?

Does it say never to wash them together? Or just when you first get them? I washed my bumgenius and cotton prefold separate when I first bought them. I think the bumgenius ones were washed a couple times, and the prefolds several times (washed and dried). Then once he started wearing them I washed them together. I've never had any problems.

the oils from naturals washes out over a few washes...AND if you have velcro they tend to get full of the fibres...
