It never fails, eh?

DD and I were playing catch-up online, we are big fans too

Im not entirely sure of favs yet. I do like how strong and supportive all the woman teams seem to be. The women Drs are doing pretty well, Im impressed by how well the vegetarian managed the sheep's head.
I wish Kevin would stop putting his dad down so much. Otherwise they are a great team too.

I think dd's fav is the father/d combo. She loves how into everything the daughter is, and she likes how the daughter is always saying unusual things, or making noise.

The Dr drawing a chalk circle around the African girls had me busting a gut. Too funny! :

*gives life support to the thread*  lol.gif

Is anyone else still watching the Amazing Race?

I can't stand that tattooed guy.  Gosh, what a jerk he is.  He's so verbally abusive to his partner.  He's constantly negative.  I was so hoping he would be eliminated, but no it had to be a non-elimination leg.

I love Team Kat and Nat.  They're so nice to the locals and supportive of each other.  I like Claire and Brooke too although Brooke can be a tady over the top with her enthusiasm.

I could have done without the sounds of those two women puking.

It really bothers me how often/always they end up putting in emotionally/verbally abusive guys and really submissive women like another poster said.  Nick (the tatooed guy) is really really an A**. but so were several of the other guys in the "Dating couples". I feel like 80% of the couples on that show are that "verbally abusive man/submissive woman" thing, which I hate. It always makes me want to say "why don't you leave him already!"

I like nat and kat as well. most of the rest of the teams left I'm not fond of.

I totally agree about the verbally abusive guy/ submissive chick theme. All I keep thinking is, "how could these people ever handle having kids?!" ;0)

As for kat and nat, I'm not so convinced they are "just friends" - just saying...

Hi, wave.gif I'm still watching. That tattoeed guy should be ashamed of his baby self. He's an emotional idiot.

I'm so not into any of the teams really. I liked the father/son team. I guess I'm rooting for the doctors.

nod.gif I agree. This has been one of the most b o r i n g races ever. The cast is just blah. Although I've really liked the exciting places they've visited---especially Ghana and Bangladesh.

With the couple that got engaged, before they got engaged, I kept thinking "You bought a house with this guy? That does not seem like a good idea at all"

wrt kat and nat, I was definitely thinking that last episode.  They are particularly... snuggly.  which is not to say friends can't be a bit snuggly, but it just had a different vibe.

Hi- I just saw this thread. DS10 and I watch this show EVERY WEEK!.  He loves it and so do I.  I guess we are rooting for the Dr's.

They really need to cut out the 'nasty' stuff, this show runs at 7pm here .  I know there needs to be drama but DS wants to know why they just can't get along  LOL

The bickering between teammates doesn't bother me.  DH and I dream of going on the show, but we would be one of the teams yelling at each other during the challenges and then making up after.  We've done enough international travel to know that being tired, hungry, and stressed doesn't lead to calm and respectful communication between us.  We wouldn't be calling each other names and harassing each other, but there would be loud and harsh communication happening. shrug.gif

I was so happy to see the winners and I'm super excited to see the news for next season.

I'm trying not to put any specifics in the first part of my post because I don't want to ruin it for anyone that didn't see it.

I was really hoping the doctors would win and Brooke and Claire coming in second was great too.

Only 2 months until the next season starts :-)

I was very, very pleased with the results. Next season looks like it could be great!

I was also very happy with the winners!  They totally deserved it.  I think they were one of the only teams that did not bicker or be unsupportive the whole time.

I was happy with who won as well. However, I have to say the finale was pretty boring. I know they attempted to edit it to make it look close between the two teams of girls, but you could pretty much tell who was way ahead the entire time.

And once again, a taxi driver costs one team a chance at a million dollars. I wasn't a huge fan of Jill and Thomas, but they got screwed.

Totally looking forward to the next season! There are so many of my favorite teams coming back! Yay!

I'm so excited for next season too! There are SO many cool teams returning. Yea. joy.gif
post #58 of 60

I would have been happy with any of the final three winning this time around. They were all pretty fantastic. I was rooting for the Drs' though.

Looking forward to next season :)

Can't wait for next season!

I was so bummed on the season where the team w/ an autistic partner lost one of their passports and were disqualified so I'm thrilled they get another chance!

Oh, now I know who they are. They showed the clip of the lost passport, but I couldn't remember exactly which team that was.
