Can't be happy

Found out Saturday that I'm expecting and I can't even be happy about it. Went to the emergency room b/c I was cramping and the doctor said I could have a tubal pregnancy or be having a miscarriage. When I got home I started spotting, but I'm fairly certain that that has something to do with my bp being 148/100. Waiting for my ob/gyn to call me to see what we are gonna do. So stressful!

Well, just to reassure you, I went to the ER with my last pregnancy because I was bleeding... a LOT and cramping pretty bad. They told me the same thing.

Saturday, she'll be 4 years old.

Bleeding and spotting can be a completely normal part of pregnancy. Good luck and hope that your little bean is just getting wedged in nice and tight and that is why you are cramping and spotting.

if it helps... I had horrible cramping at 15dpo (2 days after my BFP) I was terrified.

It went on til around 8 weeks.

Sometimes, cramping is totally normal. That pregnancy went on great and I am currently in labor with that little girl!

Good luck.

I have to agree, bleedin/spotting and cramping can be a normal part of the 1st trimester. I really hope that this is the case for you

I had bright red bleeding 5 days after my last bfp for 2 days. I thought for sure it was another m/c and told my dh that. The bleeding stopped and I took another test 2 days later and was definately +...she is turning 1 this week. Also had spotting after my bfp with my first daughter. Maybe its a girl thing??? LOL Let us know how ur doing.....

Me, too. Cramping and bleeding around 6 weeks, which is when I got my first u/s to see if there was still a baby. The rest of my pregnancy was great, and my DD is 15 months.

Thank you all so much! I'm going to see my ob/gyn this Thursday. This is my 3rd pregnancy and I'm just so nervous b/c my last son was stillborn at 36 weeks. It's been almost 15 weeks since he passed and a new pregnancy is exciting and very scary at the same time. I can no longer be naive or blissfully ignorant to pregnancy. I know what can go wrong. Oh, idk, I'm a nervous nelly

I can only imagine how hard this must be this soon after such a horrible tragedy and I am so sorry about your son. Just try to remember every pregnancy is different. Sending you lots of light Mama.

I am so sorry for your loss. I can imagine that it is very scary to be pregnant again. Hang in there. I hope you are able to be reassured by your doc. I definitely know of woman who had bleeding with normal pregnancies that resulted in healthy babies.
