Is it possible to have food/smell aversions.....

before you even know if you're pregnant or not? We've been ttc this month and I usually have very strong food/smell aversions in the beginning of pregnancy along with terrible morning sickness. My period is due this weekend so I'm still waiting to test. But oh man, I was cooking bacon this morning and the smell almost made me sick!!! And I usually love the smell of bacon cooking. And every time I think about it I feel queasy!! I couldn't even eat it, had to give it to the dogs. And then had to light a candle to try to rid my house of the smell!! What do you all think???? Is it just wishful thinking?

I had weird smell/taste aversions about two days before I tested, so starting at about 10dpo. My biggest thing was that everything tasted "off" if that makes any sense.

at 7dpo (day or 2 after implantation) I could NOT handle the smell of new toys my kids got... from the back seat of the car. No one else could smell them but it made me gag!

I didnt get a bfp until 13dpo though... crazily enough!

Happened to me with DS--couldn't stand the smell of the T-day turkey. Tested a few days later, that Sunday.

When I was maybe 2-3dpo with my oldest my DH offered my beef jerky and my stomach just rolled. It was awful!!

I've had aversions before a BFP, but not *much* before. I don't test until I miss my period, though.

Yes! I had terrible food/smell aversions and morning sickness with both of my pregnancies and was very sensitive right from the get-go.

I knew I was pregnant this time around because I took a swig of my morning coffee and it tasted terrible. One sip and I thought "oh man, I'm pregnant". I tested that day and it was very, very, very faint positive (DH didn't believe it) but then got a dark positive about four days later.

Yep, totally possible. It was 4 days before my period was due and I already felt nauseous and had smell sensitivity/food aversions. This time around, I didn't even think that I could be pregnant until I was a week late. No symptoms, nothing. Didn't get any overwhelming symptoms until I was about 6 1/2 weeks pg.
