End of an Era

Dd2, (10yo) told me today that she knows dh and I are Santa. I'm thrilled!!!! We had a good talk about it, and how the budget gets split, and how "Santa" will still come, but maybe only a token gift (so we can get a big gift for instance). We are thinking of a trip as their main gift this year, no Santa makes it doable.

I've figured from stuff she said recently that she didn't believe, but I needed her to confirm. I'm so not upset about it.

My youngest figured it out earlier this year too

I was sad but it's exciting to move on to this new phase. I really look forward to having them more involved in the preparations and whole process. I for see some really special times ahead!

my oldest surely knows that Santa doesn't exist, but with 2 younger sisters, she can't admit it out loud.

I have a 16 year old too who still gets from Santa to keep it going. I'm pretty certain Santa will still come, the budget will just be split better!
