Going on vacation, need a rec. for a good sposie for a sensitive skin toddler

The title pretty much says it all. We are going on vacation for about 4-5 days and i just don't wanna deal with CD's. I was thinking of going with either Earth's Best or 7th Generation, etc....... any of the "natural" sposie dipes.

Anybody use any of them (not just the 2 brands I mentioned but any) that can give me an honest opinion? It would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi

I currently use cloth diapers but used the 7th Generation disposables for the first month when my DD was too tiny for the cloth. I also used the Earth's Best recently when we were on vacation in Mexico and didn't have access to laundry facilities. I would go with the 7th generation in my experience the Earth's Best have an issue with the closure. The diapers opened twice in the middle of the night, which resulted in a soaked hotel bed one night. The 7th generation also look and feel more natural...not bleached white etc.

our experience with 7th generation has been good, but they do leave the skin a bit wetter than the conventional sposies we have used, so they wouldn't be great for any kid that gets rashy from wet.

I liked target brand or huggies (esp the cotton ones, am sure it's a gimmick but she was less rashy in them) for sensitive DD2. 7th Gen etc all made of something that gives ME a rash so we just use regular sposies.

DS' skin reacts badly to being wet - he comes up in a burn - we generally use suedecloth diapers.

We've had no problem with 7th Gen - his skin is always nice and clear when we use those at night. I'm happy with them.

Thanks so much for the replies! I am thinking I will probably go with 7th Gen. ....but I did a little research and found that the 7th Gen. diapers are actually dyed! I couldn't believe that.....I want to find out more about what they are actually dyed with before I buy them though.

Have you looked into nature baby care diapers? I really liked them (bought from Amazon).

Nature baby care worked well for us on our trip.
