Camping indoors - need some fun ideas!

Hey mamas - if you've done this recently with either your DS or DD, what did you guys do? Any fun activities that you'd like to share?

DS has a tent (comes with a sleeping bag, too) that he got as a gift a couple of years ago and we now have the room for him to put up the tent inside the house in either the living room or his bedroom.
In the middle of the night last night, I noticed that he had gone downstairs, grabbed a big quilt and brought it up to our room along with his pillow and slept on our floor! He said he liked sleeping on the floor and so I told him that we could put up his tent this weekend - maybe Friday night - and pretend to camp.

He loves marshmallows, so I was thinking smores. He also loves to play with a flashlight. But I'm drawing a blank on what sort of activities that we could do inside that are similar to what can be done OUTSIDE.

TIA!

When the kids were little I got them both some fisher price lanterns that make night time bug sounds. They will hang those in the tent.We did shadow shapes with our hands.Told silly and/or scary stories.Had a huge picnic in the tent.

Fishing in the bathtub or a big bucket? If you can find some fish-shaped fridge magnets, you can tie another magnet onto the bottom of a toy fishing rod and go fishing.

Our camping trip at the end of August got canceled because of weather. So we did a lot inside, though we didn't drag out the tent. The big thing was the campfire. We cooked stick bread and roasted marshmallows. We also sang camp songs and played games, which is stuff we often do while camping. During the day we went to a local (indoor) swimming pool. Have fun!
