Postcard from insurance company

Thread Starter
I just received a postcard this morning from our insurance company stating:

"Our records indicate that your child may not be up-to-date with his/her vaccinations. Please call your health-care provider for an appointment."

I'm highly annoyed by this! Has anyone else received anything like this?
I think I might need to place a complaint.

Yup, used to get those. They stopped right around a year or so, I think... its been a while. I just recycled them

I called my insurance company after receiving a card telling me I was due for a pap and mammogram.

I insisted I speak with a manager - I went OFF! I told them to stop spending my premiums printing glossy ads recommending medical treatments. It's not their job to attempt to prescribe medical care - just pay for it. Until they have a medical license and are my treating physician they need to **** off!

PS - haven't heard from them since

With our last insurance company we got these type of cards all the time. I just threw them in the recycling and didn't worry at all about it.

Wow. You are awesome, I am totally crackin up....

I've gotten these too for paps, vax, and the like, I always get really annoyed about it. I got one telling me they 'had no record' of my ds having his 6mo WBV, one day BEFORE he turned 6mo, ON the day we had the WBV

Just got a postcard like this in the mail today and hopped on this board to see how others had handled it. (love the cat barf comment! lol) I'm so ticked!!!

Especially when I see that Pfizer sponsored the postcard! I'll be calling my insurance company today and giving them an earful.
