I figured i had more time before this became an issue. Hopefully around the time i could reason w him. Apparently not.

So what do i do w a 12 mo who can take off his dipe? He's shown he can do it w aplix, side snaps and front snaps.

can he get to it with a onsie on top?

my 16 month old takes her diaper off all the time. we just have to make sure she has clothes on over it: pants, shorts, onsie. I personally take it as a sign to work on Potty learning more, because she obviously doesn't like wearing a diaper.

Pants are your friend. And not the loose fitting ones, DS can get any diaper off with overalls on. I am talking like boy-tights, or PJ pants. I learned the lesson the hard way after a hot summer days nap when he decided to remove the diaper, then poop, then scream becasue OMG it stinks!!

Ugh. Was afraid thatd be the answer. He hasnt managed to get his pockets off yet, the snaps are harder than his fitteds, but hes taking his fitteds off in the morning, when he can go through 5 dipes in 2 hrs. I leave him coverless cause its easier... Guess ill have to start putting a soaker on him.

My 6 month old can take her diaper off. My friend said there was only about two months where her kids couldnt take off snaps but could take off velcro, so I dont know that id invest in all new diapers for that. We have lots of bloomers now

you would think DD would have learned about not taking her diaper off the time she tried to eat the poo, but lesson not learned, except for her parents.

Have you tried putting it on backwards?
those g diapers, I think, fasten in the back.

the gdiapers do fasten in back, but after a bit the velcro tends to curl some, and presto! baby can get them off easily.

We had a while where she was always in one piece outfits because she could get the freakin pants off too.
