Non-toxic paint?

Thread Starter
I have some wood craft things for my kids to paint, but I'd really like to use a safe paint. . .I KNOW they will get left out, and the LO will put them in his mouth. It's inevitable.

So, what kind of paint should we use? I have some paint from the dollar store that came in the tiny round snap jars, but somehow I doubt it's what I want.

Help!

Most acrylic paints that are suitable for wood and such are non-toxic. Cheap as 89 cents at Michaels in the big folk paint area. "Craft Barrell" brand comes to mind~

I've heard milk paint is really safe, I've seen a website about making wooden toys that talked about all the different paints.

Here it is
