I just found out that I am carrying TWINS!!!! Woohoo!!!

Does anyone know of any good resources for information on diet, etc to help support a twin pregnancy? I am familiar with the Brewer diet, but any other info would be greatly appreciated.

I haven't looked through it so it may be a little bit more mainstream-ish (although I now see it mentions twin homebirth!).

Congratulations and Good Luck!!

Hi! I'm carrying twins too! I'm in the April DDC. Go to the Parenting Multiples Forum because there is a thread there for women pregnant with multiples.

I'm loving these books:
Expecting Twins...by Dr. Barbara Luke
Mothering Multiples by Karen Kerkhoff Gromada
Having Twins and More by Dr. Leo Sorger and Elizabeth Noble

Congrats!

Congrats Mama!! I have twin boys...love em to pieces!! I recommend finding your local multiples group...nothing like first hand experience. Although, if your wanting to breastfeed, not a lot of women in my group breastfed their twins...I breastfed mine til they selfweaned....its very possible!

yes please come over to the multiple section and come talk with more of us, the books Liora mentions are very good ones. im also being amused by Juggling Twins right now, though she gets a tad annoying with a few of her lines of thoughts, nothing that cant be ignored. but i think that book is more about after they are born. the barbra luke is a lot about nutrition while preggo
