Doesn't look like what my daughter's had when they were dxed with rubella. It does, however, look like what my kids look like when they touch their allergens. Does he have any food allergies?

That's interesting, as initially they thought milk. but he hasn't had milk in a week and it's still spreading. now it's gone to his arms and legs.

The way I knew my son had rubella was that the rash spread to his trunk and he got a rash exactly 21 days after exposure. He had a fever too. I can't tell by the pictures.

I'm not sure about whether or not it's rubella. But I couldn't look at those pictures and not comment on what a cutie pie he is! I want to nom on that baby belly! I hope he feels better soon.

I don't think it is. We had it start around the ears, much more solidly, and by the time it got to her trunk it was gone from her face. Lasted from Friday night til Sunday night altogether.

why dont you just get it diagnosed by a doctor? what is the harm in at least knowing for sure what you are dealing with?

This, and my doc said the rash usually starts at the head and works its way down to the trunk and appendages.

No harm. I did bring him in on Sunday, but that was before it spread down to his trunk.

It's gone now.
