I should have thought of this before starting to knit....but ah well, live and learn.
I'm knitting a lace shawl in order to learn how to read lace charts. I made it my own personal challenge. I went to a yarn store where the owner can spin a specific type of yarn from a variety of threads he's got available. To get the colour and look I wanted, he spun me a yarn made out of 2 thread of wool and 2 of acrylic.
I'm not even close to finishing but the question of blocking appeared in my head. From my research it seems that wool and acrylic are blocked differently. Now how the heck am I going to block a lace shawl made from wool AND acrylic? Wet block or ...?
