Hi Everyone!!
I'm Kaitlin, and I just found out today that I'm pregnant for the very first time! That makes my due date June 13, 2011 according to FF.
We'd been trying for 8-9 cycles and have had some difficult time due to male factor infertility. I had basically given up hope, to the point that I actually threw away a positive IC yesterday before giving it enough time to have both lines develop, because I was so certain that it would be negative.
I'm 22 years old, Canadian, living in Northern Alberta, and I've been married for 3 years to my wonderful husband, Alex, 24. I currently work in a music store, and my husband is a trucker. We just bought our first house this summer and have been really anxious to start our family. I enjoy knitting, reading, drawing and painting, listening to and writing music, good blogs, cooking and collecting records. I hope over the next 9 months to knit many many baby clothes, learn to sew really well on my machine (which languishes as we speak in what will now be the baby's room) and document this journey to the best of my ability by journaling and taking photographs.
So far my symptoms have been chapped lips, exhaustion, increased appetite and the bloated "I ate a really bad burger" feeling in my abdomen.
Life is all kinds of surreal right now, it's not quite sunk in.
I'm really really glad to be here.
