Pro breastfeeding story

Just thought this was pretty cool. For the record, I don't breastfeed but sincerely wanted to and hope I can in the future.

I was at an expo type event (a cat show) and had brought my 17 month old baby. We were there for a long time and she was soo good. Ok she slept most of the time but still! That's a long day for a baby. Anyway she was fussing a bit and I am pretty paranoid of bothering others (don't like confrontation or people looking at me).

Anyway this older lady, about 65-70 walked over to me very authoritative like and I was thinking oh crap.. I failed the mommy thing and she has come to ask me to leave (I don't get out much)

"Do you need some privacy?", she asked.

Me, being paranoid me, thought oh crap here we go and was ready to figure out how to tell her off or wimper away.

She says she thought my baby was on demand breastfeeding and that she ran the photobooth (this small white tent) and if I would like to come sit in there to feed her since no cat's were getting their pics done that minute.

I was just like WOW how cool was that? (Boy I wish I could have taken her up on it) And dumb me she was right my baby WAS hungry. I feel pretty bad about that but got her bottle out immediately. She has a thing against changing tables and I thought she was still flipping out about that.

Just thought I would share
