first a little background: DD was born instantly intolerant to the 8 common allergies + a few more....and STILL had blood. no matter what i seemed to do she was in pain....she would scream bloody murder 2+ hours a day until about 7 m/o...seriously...things seemed to get better once i eliminated absolutely everything and basically only ate veggies...yet she STILL had blood in her stool. They were about to literally do a colonoscopy and endoscopy...i told them i just could not knock my daughter out and i would just further limit my diet...(obvs she's breastfed)
anyways now for the good news:
this can not even be real right now!!!! I AM OVERWHELMED WITH JOY!!!!!!!!!!!!
you know how they say babies just grow out of intolerances at the 1 year mark? of course i did not believe them but guess what she grew out of her intolerances!!!!
we currently have NO BLOOD IN HER STOOL period none at all!!!! what i have re-introduced so far (minimally) beef, wheat, gluten, fish, shellfish, egg and soy! what we have left: corn, strawberries, dairy
but seriously i ate a bacon hamburger for lunch with fries today and no diarrhea no blood no pain nothing!!!
i am in such shock i really thought the drs were absolutely insane when they said something happens at the year mark and it just goes away...im like yeah ok thats a load of you know what! i figured maybe by 3 if we were lucky... but nope we are looking wonderful over here!!
i cried complete tears of joy for the first time in a long time i know my baby is safe and not in pain for once in her whole life!!!
