I should know better, but need some hpt reassurance

I actually pretty much know the answer to my own question, because I've btdt before, sort of, but I'm looking for some reassurance.

I got a faint positive yesterday morning using an Answer HPT with FMU at 11 dpo. It's light but there for sure, took about 5 minutes to come up fully.

This afternoon, I needed to stop at Walmart for something, and on impulse I grabbed an Equate test and took it in the bathroom there. It was either negative or sooooo faint. The thing is, I drank quite a lot of water today, and a 20 oz. Mr. Pibb (indulged a craving!) about 45 minutes before, so my pee was probably pretty diluted. I shouldn't have done it. I was planning to test tomorrow morning with Answer. I'm thinking this is probably about my pee being way more diluted. I think Equate is listed on peeonastick.com as having a similar sensitivity to Answer, but maybe not quite, in actuality.

Needless to say, I'm a little upset/freaked out, after 3 early losses this year.

What do you think? Could this just be about pee dilution and time of day?

Hugs! Its so early, your pee could be too dilute. A line is a line, I say wait a couple days so its much darker. You will feel better.

Having had 3 early losses myself, I personally would not test until AF is due or late. That is me though, and I like to brace myself for the worst case scenario since having those losses. I probably wont feel secure until AF is over a week late, since I never made if a week past AF with the losses I had.

Congrats, I hope its a sticky bean.

Thank you, and I'm sorry for your early losses. I swore up and down to myself that I would NOT test early this cycle, but I was going crazy waiting. Then after getting a bfp yesterday I planned to wait until tomorrow. I do wish I'd waited for AF to be late, but now that I've already tested, I might as well keep testing.

I am having symptoms--fatigue, slight waves of nausea, headache, food aversions and cravings--and I'm hoping those are all good signs of a viable pregnancy.

As long as your tests are pink dye then I wouldn't panic. If you want to impulsively buy future tests, get the digital ones so the faint/darkness of the line doesn't stress you out. Congrats!

Did you test today? I hope its darker and you feel better.

YES! I used early afternoon pee after holding for awhile and drinking very little, then used an Answer test (love those!) and the line came up in less than a minute, and it's nice and dark! Phew! Now I just need this little bean to STICK!

Thanks for the kind words and reassurance, ladies!
