I will be taking my newborn and 3 yo to work. It's a homeschool academy so there are tons of babies around, etc.

I'm concerned about baby having a good place to nap. I thought perhaps a stroller would be good because the top would block out light (versus a pack & play).

And if we're buying a stroller, I figure it might as well be a two seater. But not too heavy...

Any thoughts?

Also, I need a piece of furniture to put baby clothes and diapers in, and perhaps be the changing table. I like the Stokee table but it's $500! Any creative ideas? I'm open to re-purposing something from a thrift store, but what I see is pretty awful.

As far as the changing table/dresser goes, we have an IKEA dresser with a removable changing table topper. That way my daughter can keep using it long after she's out of diapers.

I don't have any ideas on the napping spot, though.

I have this bassinet http://www.toysrus.com/product/index...ductId=3532423 and I have been happy with it. The top has a cover type thing, and the baby is down inside. Plus, the bassinet comes out, so you can carry it around. Then there is a top that is a changing table (although, I always just changed him in the bassinet part) ANd the bottom is good diaper/clothing storage. You can also lift up the hood and cover it with a blanket to keep the light out.

ANother thought is the cosleeper. It has storage in teh bottom and is safe for a baby to sleep in, until they are up on hands and kneesl.

DD's been going to work with me since my maternity leave ended at 12 weeks.

When we first started, she slept on a little pallet on the floor - it was easy because I could nurse her side-lying and get up without disturbing her. I got a dangly-toy play mat thing to lie her on for short periods when she was awake.

When she started rolling too much for the pallet, we were lucky enough to be given a second-hand Arms Reach co-sleeper. I have it in the pack and play setting (mattress low to the ground) and now she sleeps and plays (for a little while, anyway) in there. The footprint is slightly smaller that an actuall pack and play, so it doesn't take up as much room in my office. She still likes the play mat sometimes and we do her diaper changes on it, too.

I also keep a boppy in the office and found the bumbo seat usefull (not so much anymore that she can almost chuck herself right out of it) to take with me and put her in when I went to the bathroom. I don't store clothes and dipaers at the office, though - we just lug a ton of stuff back and forth! I look like a crazy lady walking to work everyday - baby, stroller or ergo, diaper bag, computer bag.

We have the KidCo PeaPod which is a little tent to sleep in. It's awesome. You can get one with a self inflating matress which is the one we have.
