Symptoms!! What are yours? - Page 2

I only have off and on slight "ickiness" and sometimes my breast feel a bit tender... some off and on cramping too. I am 4 weeks tomorrow.

With my history of miscarriages I WELCOME symptoms! It really reassures me everything is ok when I feel like barfing all day long...I am ready to feel MORE symptoms! lol!

I tested mostly because nursing my toddler had gone from just dandy to gasping with pain every time he latched on. Also, I'm very, very thirsty, and having to pee a lot, though I suspect that has more to do with reaction to the exterior painting going on in our apartment complex.

Man. I can't imagine nursing with how my nipples feel right now. I woke up the other morning feeling like my nipples were on fire! I'm a stomach-sleeper and the pressure was just too much. That being said, they usually don't hurt THAT bad. I have some lower back pain and run hot- I'm completely intolerant of being too warm.
It's been a very stressful week so it's hard to say if the occasional crankiness and tiredness is pregnancy or life at the moment!
I generally feel pretty good though- but am waiting for things to really hit.

Redeyedvireo- you an ornithologist or a bird-lover? (or both)

Laura - Ha! I haven't slept on my stomach since April 2007, about a month into my first pregnancy. I kept thinking I'd get back to it, but no such luck.

I went on a lot of nature walks as a kid, and took a shine to vireos. What about you, Mainebirdgirl?

I'm right there with ya!! I hope I'm puking my guts up soon.

I've had breast/nipple soreness (mostly at night when I take my bra off), slight nausea (just a bad feeling in my throat not really feeling anything in the stomach area though), tiredness, crampy/twingy (sometimes a little more than my comfort level allows), peeing alot, hungry, thirsty....

Oh, and lower back pain. Fun.

I got queasy at around 6-7 weeks last time, so we'll see.

I don't remember being so moody last time! I feel like weeping and storming around and I am so overwhelmed by life. I hope I get used to the new hormones soon, I dont' want to spend the next 8 months snarling like an angry cat!

Amity- vireos are great- so sassy. I think that's a great name! I wish I had picked a fun name like that. I'm an ornithologist by training, although now I'm in community forestry. I hate the idea of giving up stomach sleeping, I have weird dreams when I sleep on my back.

GolfAddict, I hear you about the more cramping than comfortable with. Those just started yesterday and it made me feel uneasy. I know it's common when your uterus is stretching out to accommodate its new tenant- but ick.

My Symptoms

I don't have many really (and no matter how many other people I read about that don't either, it still makes me worry ! ). I've had some minor light cramping a time or two, I was extremely bloated but am not anymore, and have been a bit more tired and a bit more hungry. I've not exactly had food aversions but I have felt a little "blah" about food a time or two. I also almost puked once. My main symptom are my sore boobs. I'm CONTINUOUSLY checking them to make sure they still hurt lol! I actually hopped up and down a little bit last night outside of Whole Foods to see if they hurt. I thought no one was around but then I saw a man who must have seen! Whoops !!!

I think I almost threw up today!! yay! I have a ton of saliva and a bitter taste in my mouth. I went out to eat with an old friend and this gorgeous plate of fettucini came out and I had 1 bite and asked the waiter to PLEASE TAKE IT AWAY RIGHT NOW. I got totally dizzy/nauseous and burpy so I think I may have the start of morning sickness!! I had been keeping the pregnancy secret from said friend but not after that stunt. She knew right away. It was weird bc I felt fine as soon as the plate was out my face wrapped up on the floor. The bitter flavor in my mouth is still there and I am swallowing a ton of saliva. What do you think? Fluke, or morning sickness starting? FWIW I am 5 weeks, 4 days. Thanks!

I don't have too many yet, but boobs are a little sore and I've been having on and off period-like cramps. Pretty much all I want to do is drink and sleep! I'm very tired and so thirsty! I do have a little pink/brown spotting, which I'm praying is normal (dr didn't seem concerned when I was in for my beta) and everything will be fine.

Ok, I am 40 and have had infertility for 7.5 years and adopted 5.5 years ago so I thought all this was perimenopause but surprise!!!!!! Started with indigestion every night while I slept that I needed Zantac, sore boobs so I couldn't sleep on tummy, RAGING moods, husband and daughter aversion, very thirsty, my cervix feels tingly/twitchy, minor cramping, bloated, headache, tired mostly starting around 6:30, night sweats every so often. No nausea except when my little one went stinky on the stall we were in at the mall. I am 5.5 weeks.

My sweet tooth is totally gone. I don't have an aversion or anything - I'd eat a chocolate chip cookie or piece of fudge if I needed to to be polite or something - but I just don't have any interest. Usually you can't keep me away from chocolate! I think this symptom is a good thing!

nausea, fatigue, weepiness. I also just caught a cold so that's not helping.

i should add that ds has suddenly gotten really clingy and wants to nurse all the time and doesn't want solid food anymore (he's 20 months) and that all the nursing makes me want to climb the walls.

Sounds like what I have had with all of my pregnancies Isn't it wonderful It started with this pregnancy yesterday at 5 weeks. I also am MOODY, boobs still hurt a little, and I have started with the aversions! NO MORE COFFEE FOR ME. I can't even stand the smell.

I have lost my sweet tooth too! It is so weird. I never had one until my last pregnancy, and I guess it never went away after my daughter was born! Now I really am not interested, even apple juice is far too sweet for me.......but give me a bag of salted chips, or anything salted for that matter, and there is no stopping me! That and orange juice.
I am just getting pretty crampy in the evenings. There is a weird 'full' feeling in my groin that makes it uncomfortable to lie on my stomach, or cross my legs. I don't remember getting that until much later in my last pregnancy. I am 5 1/2 weeks now and already I have the pudgy tummy that makes me look like I have eaten way too much! How big will I be at 35 weeks???

So glad to read others having the menstral-like cramps! Because of two previous losses they had me worried but so happy to confirm that I'm not the only one with them. Also thirsty with dry lips and skin, sore boobs and especially nipples. I'm also cold all the time! But we are having some fall-like wether finally so I'm not complaining about that at all. Good luck to everyone and hoping for lots of sticky babies for all!

i'm only 5 weeks and already my jeans are uncomfortable! it's not that they are too tight, it's just that the waist band bugs me when i sit down. my seat-belt bugs me too. i just feel kinda swollen and sensitive. i hope this changes because i'm not ready to start wearing maternity clothes yet!
