Sublingual immunotherapy for environmental allergies?

has anyone tried this? It's like allergy shots, only you take the extracts under your tongue at home instead of having to go in to a doctor's office.

Yes, I have used them. I took the drops for over a year and noticed an improvement. I'm off the drops now b/c I am PG and my integrative pediatrician didn't recommend daily exposure to all the antigens - I feel worse. I do environmental and food drops. I used an amazing dr in TN that tested me and prescribes them. He has people from all over the country (even California) that go to see him.

Do you have multiple allergies and are they fairly severe? What were the costs like?

(I recently tested allergic to just about every environmental allergen under the sun. I have been having severe sinus headaches and at first they thought I might need surgery, but after the ENT saw my test results he said surgery was unlikely to help much. I have tried just about every allergy med out there without much response, so the ENT recommended shots, but they are sooooo inconvenient.)
