Looking for Moms in Farmington, NM area!!

We are spending a lot of time visiting the IL's up here in the Kirtland/Farmington area, and I am really feeling the lack of supportive moms to hang out with. There is a neighbor girl about my DD's age (4ish), but she is introducing a whole new bad attitude and language (as in the F* word and more ) to our kids so I am not excited about them continuing to play together.

Anyone nearby want to get together? I can't seem to find any playgroups, gatherings, etc. anywhere around here!!! I know there have to be some somewhere!!

I'm not in the area, but you can try looking for a Farmington homeschool group on yahoo. They often have park days and things to do for the young ones (and older as well, of course).

That's not a bad idea, thanks! Last time I had checked, it was pretty much Christian-based, but that was a few years ago and things might have changed. I'll definitely check it out again.

Any advise on areas to look for housing?  We are looking to move there in the next couple of months and trying to find a nice family friendly community.
