One year ago today I was waiting by the phone, wondering, wishing....

Ten days later we held our little guy for the first time and fell madly in love.

On Saturday we're having a birthday party for him and his bmom is coming as well as my family. We've had lots of successful visits and we love her (bmom) to pieces.

Just thought I'd share...especially with y'all who waited and wished with me. You are the best.

Wow. I can't believe that it's been a year already. It seems like it was just a few months ago that you made the big announcement. I'm glad that your relationship with his birthmother is going well. How far does she live from you?

She lives about 1.5 hours north of us.
