Candida overgrowth and pregnancy

So, the goal was to wean Ladybug, then do a candida detox and then TTC.

Well, life is full of surprises isn't it

What are my options now? I already have a yeast infection and I know that unless I take care of this this baby will have the same problems as Ladybug with thrush. I also suspect that the candida is behind my fatigue (the whole reason I wanted to do a detox in the first place).

Anyone have good results with homeopathic constitutional treatment under a homeopath?

Getting rid of candida can be a lot of work. I do not know much about homeopathics but I did have candida since a baby, and it is something I have worked VERY hard at to clear up!

You could start with some supplementation, elminating sugar, diet restrictions and some cleansing, although you have to be so super careful when pregnant. How far along are you?

I have lots of problems with Candida even when I am not pregnant. Some ideas would be oregano oil and then taking bentonite clay to help absorb the die off toxins. You do have to be very careful though when pregnant. Starting with some dietary changes is probably the best thing you can do at this point but you probably still will want to make sure you are taking something to absorb the toxins. Can you meet with a naturopath?

It can be very difficult to get rid of Candida, but it can be done, Mama! Here are two good resources... Could yeast be disturbing your digestion? and Guidelines For Following a Yeast-Free Diet.

Good luck!
