This is definitely a maternal freakout and I'm sure it's mostly likely nothing. Nevertheless...
My 16mo DD has been walking since she was 10 or 11 months old. She walks really well, but she still sways back and forth...literally. She looks like a drunken sailor when she walks. My mother and my sister and my dh all say she looks bow-legged. I'm worried about some out-of-left-field, fatal neurological issues causing balance problems (see? I told you it was a freakout). Her last check-up was at 12 months and the ped checked her hips and said everything was fine, but he's never seen her walk...
She has no other obvious issues. She's happy, healthy, developmentally on-track (doesn't talk as much as her older sister did at this age, but she seems to have great comprehension of what we say to her...she follows directions really well, even multiple steps), she eats like a champ...
