Searching for the most wonderful crockpot LENTIL soup ever!

I have a bazillion Lentil Soup recipes, and am looking for one my 4yo will love. We try one and she likes it, but when I freeze portions, she decides she doesn't like it so much. I will say that she always LOVES Annie's Lentil Soup (canned), so ideally, I'd like to duplicate that.

Please, no tomatoes since we're on Feingold. thanks!!

You might need to add more salt when reheating as it gets absorbed during the freezing process. That could be affecting the taste and why your daughter might not like it.

My fav lentil recipe has tomato.

Oh okay, thanks. I just read the ingredients from the back of Annie's can and am going to try to wing it. The only thing is is just says "spices" (proprietary I'm sure), so I will have to experiment with the seasoning.
