Is it possible to get pregnant when you have a 22-24 day cycle? My period can go for almost 6 days and I seem to be ovulating around day 11.

I used to have a 28 day cycle and then it went to 25 days and last month it was 22 days! What could this mean? I'm still in my early thirties.

I know that short cycles can be a concern, but I'm not sure when you start to worry about them... I think if your cycles are always 22-24 days, you might want to see an OBGYN or RE and see what they say. My cycles are about 25 days on average, but I usually O somewhere between days 12-15 and then I have a 10-12 day LP. It's all on the short-side, but it's not so short that any doctors have been concerned yet.

Yes, you absolutely can. It's not when you O that's worrisome usually, it's how long the LP is. A lot of women who have a short cycle tend to have a short LP so that is when a short cycle is worrisome. An early ovulation with a 11-13 day LP is just fine. (Mine is 11-12 days) I'm actually a little jealous as I O anywhere from CD 14 to CD 20 so I have to wait that long to start trying as where you can get started almost as soon as AF is gone which is nice.

Although you might want to ask a Dr since they are progressively getting shorter. Although mine can be anywhere from 24 days to 32 days so I don't know if it's particularly worrisome. Good luck!

I too might question that they are getting shorter. But my midwife said she prefers when women O earlier than day 14 than later. Before I had my daughter, my cycles were usually 24-26 days with even a 22 day one in there. That month I O'd on day 11 as well. I think it's fine as long as your luteal phase is long enough. Unfortunatey, now I again have short cycles but O late and have a short luteal phase bc I'm still nursing.
