What are Mighty Beanz?

My 6yo just got 2 of these little things for his birthday. What are they? What are you supposed to do with them?

As soon as I saw them, all I could think was "those will make a great noise when I suck them up with the vacuum."

They are capsules with magnets in them that supposedly do tricks. They were popular the first time about 10 years ago and have faded only to make a comeback this year
