I just re-read the first page. I soooo needed this reminder/pep talk/shot in the arm!

One thought I'd add: don't just recycle catalogs if you get them in the mail.

Tear off the page with your address and bring it to your computer.

Go to the website for whoever sent you that catalog, copy your address exactly as it appears on their label,

and tell them to take you off their list and not share your info with anybody else.

I did this determinedly for just a few months, and now we get no junk mail at all. NONE.

Our paper recycling bin fills up so much more slowly now. It's fabulous. Plus I get that smug feeling that I'm saving the planet

And I also had three copies of Its All Too Much! From another thread:

I now own three copies of Its All Too Much by Peter Walsh.

I ordered it from an online bookseller. My order was very late arriving, and they told me to wait another week and then they would send a replacement. In the meantime, I saw PW on Oprah and decided not to wait, so I bought the book at the mall. First copy.

Next week, I emailed the bookseller to get replacements, and told them to leave out IATM and credit that amount to my account.

A few days later, the replacement arrived, including IATM. Second copy.

The next week, the original order arrived. Third copy.

I sold one copy, kept one for myself and one to loan out.
