Rec for baby/toddler play table?

My almost 7 month old has started pulling up and has enjoyed the Fisher Price or Leap Frog style play table my friend has at her house. I'd like to get her something like that, but was hoping to find something that didn't rely on the "push-a-button, make-a-sound" mode of play. Has anyone found anything like that? I saw the Boikido one on Amazon, but the reviews said that it tipped easily, which wouldn't be good for a just-standing babe!

(Mods: I put this here rather than in Life with a Babe in the hopes of finding some BTDT responses, rather than cross-posting in toddlers and childhood.)

Why not just use (or get off Craigslist) a medium sized coffee table and put toys on it for her? That way you can change them out when she loses interest, and she'll have a nice place to stand and play.

Then, when she's older she can use it to play Legos, put together puzzles, etc....

We got a small table and chairs form IKEA and just put toys on it. There was a certain amount of throwing them off but that all seemed to be part of the fun. This kids are still using it at 6 & 4 though the 6yo is getting a bit big to get her knees under the table.

If you are looking for something wooden without the batteries try searching for activity cubes. Something like this. The ones Ive seen seem pretty stable.
