On to cycle 6. I expect sometime today. At least if she's going to show, she didn't make me wait an entire 14 days, but long enough that I don't have to worry about lpd. Darn silver lining.

Oh well. Another month of beer, wine, lots of fun w/DD, and even more fun (wink, wink) with DH. I think I cried all my tears out at 10dpo, so right now I'm more optimistic than bummed.

AFM: I'm up way too early this morning. So my temp was off. I used an online calculator to adjust it and that puts it right about where I'd expect it to be, which is about the same as yesterday morning. I couldn't resist a test with FMU. But to be honest it was so early and my eyes were so squinty. Part of me really thought there might've been the slightest bit of a very very faint line, but I'm not 100% sure. I could've just been seeing an evap. And my urine didn't look as concentrated as the SMU that I used to test with yesterday. So I may test again this morning with SMU. If I was smart I'd wait until tomorrow.

So now I'm awake and can't go back to sleep.

Wow ladies this month has been awesome so far! I'm loving October!!!

CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL OF THE BFPs!!! A very happy and healthy pregnancy to all of you!

CD18 here... should O this weekend I'm hoping. We'll be out of town for a wedding so we'll have to get creative but I'll keep my fingers crossed.

AFM: I had a mild freak out attack last night. My lab results for my day 3 FSH test got posted on my dr's web portal last night and came back high! That typically means premature ovarian failure!! I still haven't been able to get my OB on the phone. But I did find a nice RE who spoke to me and said not to worry that it was probably the nursing that made it come back that way. I don't know if that is what is the cause or not. But I've decided not to freak out until after I wean and if things are still abnormal then.

Now I have to decide if I want to wean now or wait! Argh! I suppose I will wait and see if the soy works then ponder this decision. If I do need clomid, I don't know if I want to take it while nursing - even though it is supposedly ok. But maybe if I wean, I won't need clomid anyway.

zjande~lol That's sooo true!! I really still don't have any symptoms to speak of except for the extra blue veins and darker nips . I am 5w 5d. Nice to hear from you again

RIMama~Sorry about the neverending cycle honestly, a 39 day cycle is not too long, though. I have had cycles as long as 46 days and actually ovulated! Most likely, though, you are experiencing an annov cycle and it may take some patience in waiting for af. I'm sure your doc could prescribe something to make you get af, but I probably wouldn't go there as of yet. (I know that's not what u want to hear!) Not sure about what herbs can encourage af, but it may be worth trying. I've never heard of b6 enducing af, though....just regulating the luteal phase after o. HTH Hope af comes soon!!

12 or 13dpo depending on which charting method I use. FF says 12dpo and I'm inclined to believe that one.

Cindy - I'm so sorry about those test results. That's such a tough place to be in. How often is your LO nursing again? I'm vegan too, and DD is nursing once a day. I've had mixed "advice" given to me - one, to add meat back into my diet (soooo not going to happen) and the other to wean. It's like being stuck b/w a rock and a hard place. I'm torn on so many levels.

Babycakes: I didnt know you were vegan! Nice! I'm not right now, unfortunately. I'm eating a bit of dairy. I started when I was prego. I'm down to nursing only 1x/day. I dropped down on around day 10 or 12 or last cycle and my numbers are still off. The RE I talked to said as long as you are nursing at all your body is not in its normal state. So yeah, I'm probably going to have to wean to 1) get answers as to weather something is wrong with me or it was from nursing and 2) get pregnant. I just don't think it's going to work for me while I'm nursing. Either bc my body just won't let it or bc I'm going to need the elp of meds that I don't want to try until I know my body won't fix itself by stopping nursing. Yes, definitely stuck b/w a rock and a hard place. My little one is almost 21 months old so I do think I am going to wean. :-( My goal was 2 yrs and we are almost there. I asked last night if we could cuddle instead of nursing and she started crying so I let her nurse. I'm going to talk about it a lot and keep asking and then gonna have to just say no at some point. but hopefully by then she won't be devastated. She has taken well to cutting down nursing and I never thought she would.

If you look at last month's CM and this month's CM you'd think that I haven't ovulated yet but will at any moment. But FF thinks I ovulated 7 days ago. I usually have a bigger temp difference between pre- and post-O than I do this month if I've already ovulated.

I wake up every morning expecting my temp to have jumped but it hasn't. If it doesn't by tomorrow I'm really going to be confused.

Thoughts?

Sarah - I really hesitate to comment because I realize that I am seeing things through thyroid-coloured glasses lately (due to my recent diagnosis & all that I've been learning). However, what strikes me about your charts is how low your BBT is. Low temps occur with hypothyroidism (one of the symptoms is infertility). Apparently temps under about 36.4 Celsius are worth looking into.
FWIW, in years past my average pre O temp was 36.45, but in recent months it has been closer to 36.2. I was diagnosed as hypothyroid in September.

Also, I don't know if this is connected or not, but I had been having EWCM even after O & throughout my cycle. After being on the meds for a month, my CM is textbook.

I hope I'm wrong, but just in case it may be worth looking into. Best of luck to you!
