How big is your 11mth old?

My baby is 11mths old. He is 20lbs and 29 inches long. He's been 20lbs since he was about 6 months old. He's grown a couple of inches since then, but has been the same length for about 2 months. He's hitting his milestones and seems developmentally perfect. But he's just not getting bigger.

Is this normal??? Did your baby stall in growth, especially once they start becoming mobile?

Yeah, both of my slowed down a lot around that age. They hit 25lbs around 9 or 10 months and then STAYED 25lbs basically until they were 2.

Yes. It's very common and totally normal.

That said, follow your instincts and follow up onn anything that has you concerned.

Yup, it's normal. My 13mo DD has been the same weight since about 7-8mo. She's roughly 19lbs and 29" tall.

DS is 10.5 months and weighs about 26 pounds, about 31 inches long. I think its normal for them to level out. He put on weight like crazy at first, but between six months and nine months only gained about a pound. He's always been above the 90th percentile for height and weight, though. Our ped said it's a common growth pattern for EBF babies, probably closer to the biological ideal.
