Any WAHMs making pull-ups/trainers? References?

Forgive me if I don't have the right lanugage. We're 'sposie users.

I'm looking for some absorbent on the inside, water resistant (not waterproof necessarily) on the outside cloth pull-up equivalents for DD to start potty learning. I want her to know its not a diaper and be able to pull them down/up by herself. I'm new to sewing and I'd like something a little nicer than what I can make myself.

So are there any WAHMs making these? Or can anyone refer me to a shop that sells them? We'd prefer american-made if it's a commercial business....

It's been a looooong time since any of mine were in that stage but I did get some custom trainers from a diaper making mom here that were awesome. They still had snaps on the sides but she could feel the wetness on the inside. She didn't normally make them but did for us and I'm so happy she did, they lasted us forever! I believe it was "Zaney Zebra" but i could have that spelled wrong, lol. Like I said, it's been many years, i don't even know if she still makes diapers.

they aren't waterproof, though. They are just underwear with an extra absorbing layer in the middle.
