Balancing PH-too acidic..help!

So I was told to test my PH using PH test strips. It came back at 6.25 which is acidic. I guess this can cause issues with trying to conceive. I already don't eat dairy or gluten. Other than eating alkaline foods and lemon or apple cider vinegar-what else can I do? I have 2 weeks before I ovulate again. HELP

Here's a link to alkalizing your body, I used some of them when TTC this time and the changes were not difficult to make. Mostly I would implement them about a week before ovulating and continue through ovulation.

Are you testing your cm or your saliva? Are you wanting to sway for a particular gender?

I've had really good results with just cutting out meat for a few days. I'm also gluten/dairy free and I drink alkaline water pH 8.5.

That link has really good advice, thanks Princess.

thanks! No, I would be happy with either gender-I did a saliva PH strip test and it was 6.25. It never occurred to me that PH could cause fertility issues-this is new info to me!

Isn't it the PH of your CM that is more the concern (or is it presumed to be the same as your saliva...it's all a body secretion right? lol)? I would test that and see what you get. I know to make my CM more alkaline (to ttc a boy) I put a dab of baking soda on my finger and inserted about 20 minutes prior to DTD. But if you are prone to vaginal infection, messing directly with the vajayjay ph can be tricky. Or a baking soda/water douche, but then you are rinsing out all the other good stuff.

I never thought about cm ph....I just assumed it was all the same. My test strips I got at the natural store are for urine or saliva. This is all new to me so anyone with experience with any advice is greatly appreciated.
