It's funny to me that you think 7 lbs is small. My 7# 6 ouncer was huge to me after my 6 lb 11 oz and 5 lb 12 oz babies. We just have smaller babes (in spite of my 50-pound weight gain ). I was 6# 12 oz, my bro was 6 something (smaller than me), dh was 6# 7 ounce. I think we grow them quick, too, J was showing signs of post-date at 40w 2d (and dates are spot-on).

When do we become childhood years?

For sure a 7lb. baby next to a 5lb. baby would look gigantic to me They wore preemie clothes for a while because of how small they were, so it'd be nice to have a baby who's a little more filled out. My mom had small babies but she smoked through all of her pregnancies, I was 6lbs. My MIL had babies in the 9-10lb range. I think Andrew was pretty close to 10lbs. at birth and her babies just got bigger after him. So I imagine we'd have babies somewhere in between, my 50lb. weight gain didn't do anything for me either

So they are still toddlers? Whatever.  We definitely don't have childhood issues yet.  I am subbing in without much to say.

There's much debate about where threads about 3 yo's belong.  I don't care, as long as I can find you all somewhere.

No pox yet.

Getting a prescription for Zofran today. The only thing that seems to be settling my stomach is coke. Yeah, not so healthy. I'm just hoping for some relief at this point since I threw up until I went to sleep last night. I think I'm also going to stop taking my prenatal and switch to a gummy vitamin or something without iron and see if that helps. I ended up throwing up my prenatal last night anyway.

Laine let me braid her hair for the first time last night and again today and it is soooo stinking adorable. And speaking of hair, I think I might get all of mine cut off.

If coke helps, have you tried ginger ale (made with actual ginger)?

The prenatals I had with #1 made me nauseous.  The only times I vomited that pregnancy were due to the prenatals.   Also, I'm discovering the hard way that zinc can be nauseating.  There's a few kinds of zinc, one of which is cheaper and nausea-inducing.  I *don't* have that kind, and still find it nauseating sometimes, even on a full stomach.  I've started taking it before bed to sleep through it.  I hope you get some relief soon.

I drink ginger ale like it's going out of style, and honestly it just reminds me how sick I feel so I've been cutting back on it. It's like when you have the flu and you drink ginger ale, and then after you get better you associate the sick feeling with the ginger ale. I guess I just have weird associations with food.  I have pregnancy nausea tea with real ginger and some other goodies and it does a lot for energy but not so much for the throwing up and nausea.

It's right around now that things usually take a turn for the worse and I'm incapacitated for the rest of the day. All I've been able to eat so far is a banana so I'm going to try and choke something down for lunch.

Oh and I will get a picture of her hair before she goes down for a nap

I think the biggest difference between last time and this time is that with Laine the throwing up would strike out of no where and I wouldn't have any forewarning. This time I get really horrible stomach aches and just feel miserable before throwing up. And I've never had a problem with this prenatal before, it's the same one I've taken for all of my pregnancies and while breastfeeding. I've always taken it before bed, as well. No prescription was called in today so hopefully tomorrow.
