Escher—Yep! Looks like it’ll be around the end of the month, although it might move over into November, depending on what my body feels like doing. At this point I almost hope it takes a little longer so I’ll be able to try again at the end of November. We’re going to be gone for Thanksgiving, so if my O could just move to the week after I’d really appreciate it. Everything is crossed! That test is such a tease!
Carmen—Glad to hear your meeting with KD went so well! It sounds like he’ll get there, but I’m sure he appreciates you listening to his feelings and encouraging him to take his time rather than rushing him into it. I hope it continues to go well!
Starling—Hi! Welcome (back)!

Library—I’m sure you’ll start feeling good and pregnant soon! Have you felt any little kicks yet, or is it too soon?
Ruby—wow, that doesn’t sound fun at all. And certainly not like he was trying to impress you (whoa! That is an impressive amount of junk you just ate!). Do you have a plan for another donor if you need one?
Scarlett—Yay! Just when you needed something to go a little RIGHT for once! Can’t wait to hear how the details all work out! (also--hahahahahaha about every day for a week! Hell, have him send one every day for a month!)
Kgul—that’s so frustrating! But if he’s got super-sperm, maybe it won’t matter? Fingers crossed!
MaxK—you’re going to have a degree in injections by the end of this, from the sounds of it. Glad to hear you’re relaxing and getting excited!
MizYellow—I’m no good at the tracking, either, yet. But all of those signs sound like you’re on track!
AFM—well, my temp has been up for three days, so I must have O’d the day after the positive OPK, but my cervix hasn’t gotten firm again yet. Strange. It’s a little reassuring that the dr’s schedule (12 and 36 hours after pos OPK) would have the insems at what look like the exact right times, but I still wish this were a little more clear-cut.
Today I’m going to try to talk to the benefits office at work and see about getting signed up for short-term disability, and funding a healthcare FSA. I’ve never done the FSA before, and I hate the idea of putting in a bunch of money and then losing it at the end of the year, but it seems like next year I’ll either get pregnant and have that to pay for, or not get pregnant and spend a lot of money trying to get there. Does anyone have any advice on this kind of stuff?
