Have u heard of The Grocery Game?

It's www.thegrocerygame.com.

I generally don't do coupons because I think they make me spend more money than I would otherwise, but I can see that combining sales with coupons can be advantageous.

I like the concept that she has all things already researched, BUT I think the $5/month fee should include all the stores in your area so that you can compare. As it is, the $5/month just includes one store's sales and you have to add $5 for each extra store that you get their weekly ads from. (I know some of the fliers are available free online (tho I can't find Whole Foods), but the coupon info is valuable too.)

Any thoughts? Or perhaps another site that does all this research (regionally) for free?!?

I did this myself (without paying for TGG) a couple of years ago, combining coupons and sales. I did manage to save a lot of money. One time I even paid $100 for a $400 order after they rang up the coupons and sales. So it can definitely be done.

One annoying thing though is that you don't end up with a lot of healthy food this way.

Coupon mom has all the same info for free, coupons, match-ups, sales percentages....I personally wouldn't pay for something I could get for free.

I checked out couponmom.com but they only have one of the grocery stores in my town, so I can't compare.

Any other ideas???

I've used GG for a year or so and like the service. In addition to the flyer ads, it lists sales (and corresponding coupons) that aren't in the weekly flyer, and I haven't been able to find that anywhere else for free.

That said, they don't offer my fave grocery store, so I subscribe to one that's ok but not my first choice.

One thing I've started doing independent of GG is running my grocery list through a coupon database to see if there is anything I'm missing.

Krazycouponlady.com

ALL of her stuff is free and if she doesn't have matchups for your area, she will point you to someone who does.

She also has a great book, Pick Another Checkout Lane Honey, that is amazing at helping you get tons of stuff for free or nearly free

Hotcouponworld.com or a fullcup.com, both of those have great resources and people who are really helpful. There are a ton of individual store forums on them.

These are my two favorites!
