How many times does your 5 month old wake up at night?

My first two babies nursed about every 2 hours, but would let my nurse lying down.
This current baby only likes to nurse when I am sitting up and it's SO tiring.
I am curious to know how many times other babies wake to nurse during the night.

Sprout woke 1-3 times a night. DD had reflux and dairy intolerance and woke every 1-2 hours.

"Normal" is a huge range. Your LO is waking as much as he/she needs.

My son was every 2 hours. My daughter is twice a night (7pm-7am) - unless she is going through a growth spurt, approx every 3 weeks lasting 1 week long - then it's every 1-2 hours.

Generally 1-3 times a night at nearly 6 months old. Sometimes I can resettle her and keep sleeping/nursing, but other time she's agitated and the wide awake enough that we have to leave the bed for a couple of hours (my least favorite times).

Yea, mine goes to bed at 7, is usually up by 8:30, nurses back to sleep, then up again every 1-2 hrs depending on whether he's sleeping with me using my nipple as a pacifier (can you tell I'm irritated?) or in the swing. He'll wake more sleeping on his own then in bed with me but then he's usually nursing all night.
