does breastfeeding reduce reactions to vaccines?

I am reading Aviva Jill Romm's book Vaccines: a Thoughtful Parent's Guide and it has been very enlightening. One thing I read last night really has me wondering: she said that it seems that kids who are breastfed (for a few years, esp.) appear to have fewer long term reactions to vaccines, in terms of autoimmune disorder issues, at least. As well as some of the other side effects.

Does anyone have any thoughts or BTDT on this idea? We are in the midst of trying to reach a decision about vaccines, and I find this theory very interesting.

My DS was BF 14-15mo. All he's gotten is one HIB and all TDaP. No adverse reaction/immune problems so far. I delayed giving him the vax, he was at least 6mo when we started.

Good luck
