Contraction Timers

I have never used one of these before, but can see the pros of doing so this time around. I don't have internet access on my phone (how old-fashioned of me, I know ) so it would have to be on my laptop. How do these things work? Do they work well? Are they a pain? Any recommendations?

contractionmaster.com

its what I used in labor this time, it worked awesome, I would tell DH when a contraction was starting (or later he would start it when I started moaning) and again when it was ending (or I stopped moaning) and got a really good idea of how things were progressing... plus he actually got to feel useful during a time when I did not need him so much (my focusing is internal so through contractions its best for me to just be left alone)

There are ones online. That's what I was planning on using. The contractionmaster.com one seems pretty good. If I don't have access to my laptop my phone has a stopwatch on it that I can count the time between the start of one contraction and the start of the next. I think it only holds like 3 or 4 'laps' though.
