You might want to post over in the decluttering section. Theres tons of playroom pictures over there. I just redid out playroom so when I finish I can post some pictures of it.
As for what we have in it, not as much as people might think. I have 2 children (22 months and 3 1/2) they have:
-a large bucket of wooden block
-a small bucket of magnetos
- a bucket of cars with a car mat
- a bucket of trains
- a noahs ark and pirate ship play set
- a few balls
-stuffed animals
In the closet where they can't get into without help with have
-puzzles
-lacing beads
-playdoh and accessories
-stacking blocks
-a ball pit with balls and tunnels.
For Christmas/birthday they are getting (at least they have requested, we aren't sure what we are getting yet):
-a dress up trunk
- a train set
- a puppet theatre
- dolls with clothes/sling
We have two toy organizers, both are about half full.

thaks for your toy ideas and the declutter board, now I just need to find that!
I love the minimal list of toys you have I downsize all the time but I seems to get more coming in than out
my kids have and love all the x-mas ideas you have listed, check out halloween cleaance sales for dress up clothes, as for pupper theater you can buy or make one that uses a spring rod in the door way (we plan on making one but so far just have lots of puppets)
