Ladies are you all still hanging in there? I need some good news to cheer me up!

At this point I'm just waiting for my period to start, it seems about to. Got a BFN on 11dpo so wasn't really hoping. I'm looking on the bright side that my spotting started much later than it has in the past, and it looks like my longer LP is here to stay. I have to admit I was appreciating the shorter wait of 12 days! Now I have a true two week wait!

I love that you are going to 'tell yourself'..lol. I think that sounds like a good plan. I am shocked that you seem to have gotten AF..I could have sworn you were totally having pg symptoms! One of my good friends says this happens to her whenever she lives with females as a PMS symptom..but it happens to her consistently. If that has not every happened to you, it would be weird for it to just do it all of a sudden right when you are TTC!

AFM: Not much to report today. AF still going. I think the Vitex and maybe the red raspberry leaf tea I've been drinking has at least helped with my AF symptoms. My cramping has been a LOT less than usual..which is a welcome change! Just trying to focus planning the next cycle now. I was really hoping my In-laws would watch Ds on Dh's b-day so that we could have an easier time getting some good BD time in..but they are going out of town for the second year in a row on his bday! I love my in-laws, but sometimes they really short end Dh, which makes me mad and sad!!

lazykate, did you do anything specific to make your LP longer or did it just happen by itself? I would love to get tips.

Yeah none of these symptoms have EVER happened to me before, except for my boobs being sore from 1 DPO, which happened to me only once before: last month, which was my first cycle TTC. Anyways I hope I get them all again next month, and that my LP improves enough for the pregnancy to stick!

I started drinking raspberry leaf tea too this week. It is yummy. I hope I have less cramps, my cramps are awful.

I calculated today that I have a 75% chance of getting to meet my baby in 2011

I found stats online that said 75% of couples get pregnant within 9 cycles. If my cycles continue to be 27/28 days long like they are currently, a pregnancy in my 9th cycle TTC would result in a baby being due at the very end of December.

Hooray for becoming a mom in 2011! I hope it happens to all of us here!

Sourire, I didn't do anything different that I know of. Just a couple of cycles ago, my period started holding off until 15 dpo. I charted for a while before I started TTC, and had been consistently 12 days. You can imagine how I was feeling when I start trying in earnest, and suddenly my period is late! I was testing throughout, so I don't think I had any chemical pregnancies. Who knows, maybe it's something in the semen .

My spotting seems to have turned into a trickle, so can I be moved to Waiting to O? I'm calling CD1.

AFM: Well, FF confirmed O today. I'm 3dpo in my 2 week window now!. My other charting method (Creighton) says 4dpo, but I'm going to go with fertility friend for now. I did end up taking my progesterone, so that could be the reason for the temp hike, but I thought even if I take it one day early in my 2ww that's not going to hurt anything. I wouldn't want to start it too late, KWIM?

I call these "drive by's". I really think they are cycles where conception happened and implantation began, but for some reason it stopped. With how long I've been TTC, I think I know my body well enough to know whether I'm actually feeling something or not. And I NEVER feel these things when no sperm is involved.

Gator-Mom... It's probably the Vitex. I've taken it in the past and I remember it eliminating my AF cramps.

AAM... Thanks to being sick and being on antibiotics, my cycle is screwed up. I normally ovulate on cd13-14. Today is cd15 and I don't really think I have a clear temp shift yet, though I did get a slight rise this morning. Plus, I got a rather dark positive OPK this morning, not sure if it is my 3rd positive in a row, or darker than the first 2. I'll have to try and compare it after it dries. This probably means I should get another BD in today. I hope Spicy is up for it.

I'm spotting a bit today and BFN so I don't think it's gonna happen. If there was a babe it didn't stick around. I feel okay though. Ready for a glass of wine and my next BDing marathon! Predicting CD1 tomorrow.

AFM - stupid temperature was exactly the same today as yesterday. I'm feeling like maybe my temping isnt accurate, looking at other factors (CM, opk, cervix, past O day avg). DH travels a bit, and so I have noticed in the past that the days he's gone, my temp dips. So maybe his body heat is bumping my temp, as oppsoed to O bumping my temp.

Somebody chart-stalk me and weigh in....I need to stop looking at it!

motray36 - the most confusing thing about your chart is the fact that you still have EWCM, since all the other signs indicate that you probably O'd already. Is it possible you could be confusing semen with EWCM?

How much does your temp dip when DH is gone? If your last 2 temps were 97.2 instead of 97.3, that wouldn't make a difference in my opinion because they would still be higher than the 6 previous temps.

You also mentioned before that the temp shift on CD22 wasn't as much as you normally get when you O, but you said you BD'd 4 hours before. Normally my temp is lower when I go to bed later, even if I take the temp at the same time. I think the # of hours of sleep counts. Do you normally temp after 4 hours of sleep, or is this unusual for you? If so, your temp may be artifically low.

My guess for your O date is CD21.

i'm late to this thread, so catching up.
back when i was ttcing on my own, i had the exact same thing happen. i'm convinced it was a chemical pregnancy b/c it hadn't happened before or since. (and it was a few years ago.)
and it's not necessarily b/c of your cycle. so many chemicals and early miscarriages happen b/c the embryo wouldn't have survived anyway. take it as a good sign that your body is doing exactly what it should.

Yay, I think I am 2 DPO. Good thing I realized I was still fertile before it was too late. Now I am in the 2ww. So AF will be due 2-3 days later than I would normally expect her. I had some really really wicked ovulation symptoms which hopefully translate into a really good ovulation. I am pretty optimistic about this cycle right now.

I'd have to go back and look at past temp dips when DH is gone- but its' definitely more than .1. Significant enough that I'd notice the difference on my chart. Very good point about the 4 hours of sleep - that could have artifically lowered it and the jump could actually be higher. I wish the timing of potential O and hubby coming home didn't match up so exact....I feel like there are a lot of factors that make the temps tougher to interpret(opening.closing of windows, heat on, body temp, different pjs)

Hmm I think I misread your cervical stats... I saw the day that was high but failed to notice that it became more open after... so you're right, that is confusing.

However based on OPK's, O should have been on CD21, CD22 or CD23.

I guess you know your cycles best! If it were me I will still try to BD today, just in case.

motray39 - depending on the stats for day 24, I might say that O is day 23. I think regardless if you Oed between day 21 and day 23 BDing was optimal, but I know it is frustrating to not know what exactly is going on. My cycle seems delayed and a bit off too, maybe the moon is in an odd phase!! I am not one to think that stuff really matters, but I know you and I are not the only ones experiencing delayed weird Os this cycle. If I recall Lydia and Stevi (could be the antibiotics though) are kind of dealing with the same things? Am I right? Anyone else? Maybe this means a big baby boom for June

AFM - seriously, I think I am 1DPO now! This has to be it! I am really hoping for a stark white OPK today. Hopefully I can ask to be moved tomorrow.

Just checking in...6 DPO for me today. As expected, no symptoms at all, but chances for this cycle aren't so good anyway. Just want to get through so I can start planning the next one....

opks are still confusing to me....so based soley on the opk, if I got a positive Monday morning (almost sunday night, and almost monday evening), I most likely O'd somewhere between Monday evening (12 hours) and Tuesday evening (36 hours). Yes? I know its not "that" precise, but in theory? So ideally, if I was ONLY doing opks, I should have BD'd earlier on Monday (rather than 1 am Tuesday morning), then again on Tuesday? Trying to figure it out for future cycles...if I have them

I am excited to stalk the new group of people in the tww. I will most likely be in the shadows for a bit as it is apple processing and batch cooking time. (and I have terrible cramps and can I just say I don't really feel like doing any of those things that need to be done.)
