The Fabulous ONE Thread Oct 3 - Oct 9 - Page 2

I would swear I already posted this, but apparently I would be incorrect.

Yes, please do add me to the BFP's, I have a good feeling about this.

Yellowdart - I hope you got new tests, and that they agree wholeheartedly with "positive".

Gatormom - You're not out yet, I hope you're just slow out of the hcg gate!

I hope I see a lot of you moving to the DDC's soon!

OMG!!!!

That is so exciting! And your chart really does give me hope with a BFP after that temp drop at 10DPO. I showed it to DH and he is now more optimistic as well! By the way we are going to be in the same province next week, I am coming home for my brother's wedding! I will be sending happy pregnancy vibes to you!

yellowdart, congrats as well! The BFP explosion has begun!

Congrats to the BFPs!

AFM - Ugh. More bleeding, and my temp dropped this morning. I'm going ahead and calling this CD1. Please move me back to Waiting to O. Again.

I came down with a cold this weekend, which I guess explains my wonky high temp from yesterday.

I had an 11 day luteal phase though, which I guess is an ok consellation prize.

Hykue - Congratulations!!!! It is good to start the month off on a high note!!! I am pretty sure your uterus was just asking for a break and you are fine! No more heavy lifting though! Take care of yourself!

Yellowdart - Did you get a new test yet?

Lydia - I will probably join your buddy list in a couple days once I have confirmed. I am guessing O is eminent or has very recently occurred.

More about me - Pretty sure peak fertility is about now. Dh and I DTD 4 days ago, 2days ago and yesterday... we aren't spring chickens anymore and I do not think we can make it happen again tonight! We will shoot for tomorrow even though I think it will be too late. I hope what we have is enough... I know I have already said it, but this cycle would be perfect!! I already know how I would tell DH... Our birthdays are 5 days apart and the DD would be at the same time so I want to wrap the test up in birthday wrapping paper and give him an early gift! I NEVER EVER do cutesie stuff like that, but for some reason I want to now! Have I mentioned everyone I know is pregnant! At least it feels like it! They are everywhere!

Hi ladies. I took a couple pink tests this afternoon and got BFN both times, so I guess I need to be a little more patient.

I might try again on pink test tomorrow morning, which would be 12 dpo. I'm still pretty hopeful!

Updated OP

AFM: I have a dull ache where I think my ovaries are. I hope I hade one strong O, that made for a good corpus luteum. I am such a dork, and I think about this way too much.
Lydia - When I got PG in August I could feel the corpus luteum, it was so obvious and almost painful, DTD was difficult and I could feel it for weeks, even after the loss. Last cycle I did not feel anything like that at all, and my hope went out the window, but I do not ever recall feeling it with any of my other pregnancies, and of course my PG in August was not meant to be. I am already starting to try and feel something in my ovary region and can't pin point anything. I swear I am having pains on both sides, I was sort of expecting the left side, but I am feeling stuff on the right too. Can both ovaries release an egg or do multiple eggs usually come form the same side?

I was thinking about you the last couple of days, wondering what the verdict on the spotting was..sorry it turned out to be AF But like you said, at least your LP is improving!

Hykue: Thanks for the encouragement. I probably wouldn't really be all that bummed if I didn't have such a short window to try. If I don't get it next cycle (or a surprise turn to this cycle), I will have to wait until at least summer of 2012 to try again which makes me feel sad for my little only child boy who wants a baby brother or sister so bad!

Yellowdart: crossing my fingers for you that you get some nice bfp's over the next day or two!

Silverbird: That is a bummer that you have won't be able to conceive naturally..a frustrating wait I'm sure.

AFM: Not much new. Had a mini funk today and layed in bed for about an hour and a half with Dh and Ds pouncing on me to cheer me up. I continued to feel blah today with no explainable reason..my cold seems to be clearing up quickly. We had taken ds to the park today and lately, seeing little kids and preggo women just makes me feel totally jealous..esp when I see these huge happy families!

Anyone else O'ing right now?

According to CM and OPKs, I usually O around CD 21.
Still not temping, looking at our timing the last few months I thought I was O'ing earlier.

Trying really not to stress. I have trouble being into the whole idea until it's like OMG, it's time to try try try and then I freak out.

Thanks for the sympathy, everybody. I am still bleeding really inconsistantly, which just prolongs the mind eff. I took a shower over two hours ago, and then just went to the bathroom and my pad was completely clean, although there is still blood when I wiped.

I wish I remember more details about how I bled when I got pregnant with DD. I know it lasted a couple of days, and I know it was enough to need a pad, but it wasn't like a regular period. I suspected I was pregnant, tested on a Saturday morning, got a BFN and then promptly started spotting. I was a little disappointed, but we weren't trying so it was ok.... and then later that day I got on a plane for Vegas for my brother's wedding. I had an extra FRER that I had packed in my bag before I started bleeding.

So I really wasn't paying attention. I had a good time for a few days. My brother got married that Wednesday. Thursday morning I woke up and realized that my period wasn't quite normal and thought I would poas just in case. And surprise!! But I don't remember when I stopped bleeding or how long it lasted. ARGH.

I just want a BFP without any bleeding whatsoever. That would make things a whole lot easier.

Yay!!! I got a CL!!! So I'm apparently 4dpo today! Although I am not sure on that... Could be less, could be more... but I am pretty sure one way or the other that I DID ovulate! I could be as much as 8dpo or as little as 1dpo so this should definitely be an interesting 2ww. I know my chart looks like a clear CD17 shift but there are a lot of factors that go into that... It definitely makes the most sense with the other signs but it was such a weird shift that I am not 100% convinced. I have been charting for almost 7 years and I have never had such an odd shift... It seemed to bounce around a lot before it went up and stayed up. Very odd for me but I'll take it. Here's hoping I get a BFP at the end of this craziness!

BFN this morning at 10DPO. I never got any feelings like I ovulated this month. Normally the CM is a clear indicator and there was none this month. Any other runners here? Maybe I am not ovulating b/c I run? I run 15 miles a week.

Do you chart? Temps are the only thing we can do at home that can really tell if you are ovulating or not.

I only temped a couple months. Normally I get a super obvious egg white CM, but this month I was extremely dry. I get my period very regularly, usually I can predict it down to the hour it will come. I have a very hard time with temping b/c I have so many sleep disturbances. Maybe I will give it a try again though. My LP is usually 14 days exactly.

I got pg with Ds when I was running about 10-11 miles a week, climbing stairs and hiking about every weekend. Though I wasn't paying attention back then as he was a surprise, so I don't know if I was having regular cycles or not. Are you eating enough fat? Low body fat can mess up your cycles as well.

Congratulations Hykue!!

Fingers crossed for you, Yellowdart!

I am 4 DPO today, Lydiah (I think). So we are cycle buddies again!

Gatormom -- Thank you for the advice regarding the UTI. I have a history of them and they are always very painful from me right from the start -- I really cannot tolerate the discomfort/pain for several days and can always tell right away when one is starting. I also went away for the weekend, so really needed to take care of it with some medication.

I think I Oed right before I got the UTI, but I missed a day of temping (a critical day at that!) so it's hard to say and I may have Oed a day earlier than I think, or I may have Oed after I got the UTI and had a temp rise due to the infection. Either way, I am most likely out for this month because we only BDed once (possibly the day of O or the day after O) and I am unsure of my O date.
