So JJ has decided that his sister's pink V-tech computer is his new favorite toy. Darned monkey keeps ee-ee-ing and I'm about ready to chuck the thing out the window. However, by playing with it, he now says "Bye-bye" "Hi!!" "3" and a bunch of other new words. He's also singing "Dominic the Donkey" the "Lalala" part. Anyone who's heard the song knows and if you don't it's a cute italian christmas song and you should definitely check it out. Lol. But that came about because his babysitter's grandson's name is Dominic and to help him learn the name I started singing the song. Random, I know, but it works. Now he say "Dicadic" (close enough, right?). He's also saying the sitter's name and the sitter's daughter's name. He's started saying ba-ba for bottle, but we are weaning him off of that, so it won't last I imagine. He was clucking like a chicken the other day too. His language just seems to be exploding! His comprehension is amazing. It's just sooo cool to see and hear all this developement. How rewarding!

We had our 1/2 day tour and stay at the Montessori school this morning. Olivia was so interested in EVERYTHING that she couldn't focus. There were 11 other children with 4 right around her age. I stayed for about 30 minutes and dh stayed the whole time. He was very impressed that the children her age paid attention, held onto the rope they use when they all need to walk together, they sat and ate together, and generally appeared to be more ordered and shall I say better behaved? Olivia has had the run of the house. DH did leave the room to see how she would handle it and she did start crying after noticing he was gone. The teachers there say that stops after about a week when they realize that mommy & daddy always come back. She never cries when I leave for work and she has her nanny here.

I am impressed with the place though. We will be visiting daycare #2. This one seems a bit more crowded space-wise but has a much better outdoor play area and a Thursday music program that I'd be very interested in having her participate in.

I noticed Olivia has tooth #9. She didn't nap well today and she's up later than usual tonight. Hoping we all sleep through the night tonight.
