Thigmotactic man

I love all the leaps and strides I am seeing as my 2 yo suddenly becomes very involved with the world around him, However he reminds me of Johnny 5 of the movie, 'Short Circuit. ' Need More Input!!! I am ok with this during the day, but the resistance to falling asleep followed by waking at 3-4am and pouncing on me repeatedly before stealing my blanket so he can wrap himself up- like a burrito- giggling all the while is getting old fast.

What's helped your sensory seeking kids develop a better sleep routine?

This is a kid who spent much of his first 2 years asleep being very low arousal/low activity. We started a sensory diet with him a few moths ago and the changes are phenomenal, but there has to be a middle ground here.

Do you use a weighted blanket?
