Disposable Guilt

I've been mostly using cloth since my little guy was born 7 months ago. I'm a teacher and since school started again in August, I've had trouble keeping up with the extra laundry from the cloth diapers. I'm working overtime this year, about 5 hours a week more than last year. Those 5 hours make a big difference! Anyway, I started using disposables full time a month ago. It just makes my life easier and reduces stress. However, I do feel guilty that using them could harm my son to to chemicals and lack of "breathing" like cloth breathes. I also think about the Earth and I feel back knowing I'm increasing my garbage output going into landfills. I miss my cloth and I will go back to it when I have more time (I hope)! Anyone been there done that?

We used disposables a lot more than I anticipated due to an international move, travelling & just plain being overwelmed at times. The way I figure it is each time I did use a cloth it was one less disposable going to the landfill. Still not perfect but a heck of a lot better.
