...and I guess I just want to take a few minutes and have a little pity party for myself. STBX has acted like a UAV for the last week because I told him I would no longer discuss our situation without a 3rd party present. So, earlier today (our 12th, and hopefully last, anniversary) when I dropped off DS to spend the day with his dad, I find out STBX has bought me flowers and a "happy anniversary" card. 
REALLY? I mean, come on! It's like he thinks I'm just going to fall into his arms and forget what a jerk he's been...and the fact that we're getting a divorce over it...because of some pretty flowers.
I told him I appreciated the gesture, but I didn't feel right accepting anything. So, then he asks me to at least read what the card said, because it might "make our situation right again."
(I refused, but now I have to admit that my curiosity is getting the better of me. Oh, well.)
