Ahhh....we are also experiencing the grumpy snot nose, with the additional sign of ain't-going-to-sleep-no-way-no-how. Although I will say the grumpy snot nose portion seems to be on the mend (started Sunday). I have a deep-seated fear that the AGTSNWNH portion may become a chronic condition, leading to either 1)mama losing what tiny little portion of her brain is left and/or 2)dropping the nap entirely so that exhaustion can overwhelm the AGTSNWNH. Hope Q feels better soon!

OK, I know it's not really funny. And I really hope the snotty noses clear up soon and they get to sleep. But your description of it cracked me up!

N just napped from 4:30 pm to 9 pm, so we'll be up half the night. DH and I decided to stop getting down about it when he does this and roll with it instead. So we just decided, what the heck, let's have a picnic! We're packing right now and then we're going to a boat launch at Jordan Lake that stays open all night to stargaze!

Wow, April, what a kick-butt nap!! (although bummer about the time of it!) and what a cool idea of the night-time picnic. Heck, at the rate we're going, if we weren't so far away, we'd join you, LOL. Well, Tessa and I would, Caden is sleeping as he should be (although he fell asleep later than he shold have too). And this is after Tess only slept an hour for her nap.

We're out. Luke woke up coughing several times last night. I think we'll find an isolated playground to go to instead so he doesn't pass anything on.

We're not going to make it. It's a 40 minute drive for me and that is just too much today. We're going to have to drive 6 hours tomorrow to attend a funeral so we'll have plenty of car time. Maybe next week.
