Help! Do I need to prep my new Disana wool cover?

Hi all!

I have a brand new Disana wool cover... Is there anything I need to do to prep it before I use it? Having a hard time finding info on this online.

I did prep my hemp inserts, SuperDo, and Happy Hempy before though, by washing and drying 3x, hot wash w/ Charlie's, then 2 cold rinses, and tumble dry warm, each time!

You need to lanolize it. When I get new wool I wash it in a wool wash and then lanolize it. I use some stuff by Face of the Wave, but there are a lot of brands out there.

You can use the Lanisoh Lanolin cream that you use for sore, cracked nipples, right? The stuff in the purple tube? I think you can just create your own lanolizing wash by disolving it in warm water? Has anyone done this?
