knit split-crotch longies pattern?

I need to find a pattern for knitting wool longies, but with an open crotch for easy EC access.

Anyone have a good one? I would like to use them along with maybe a fleece diaper belt and a small cloth "loincloth" for cosleeping while allowing quick, hassle-free nighttime potty access as needed, with the extra security of the cloth in case of a miss, so I don't have to wash the entire queen sized mattress pad, sheets, etc. possibly each and every day.

I have searched high and low, and wool longies patterns abound, but not ones where you can knit them with a split crotch.

Anyone have any ideas? I'd even consider buying an extra one in addition to knitting one, if someone is selling them.

How about a sack instead? Just knit a long tube with ribbing at the top and ribbing at the bottom. It would pull up just like a gown.

I was just searching online (I too am looking for split crotch longies but to buy not to knit!) and found this: http://www.dictumsapienti.com/knitti...ongies_v01.pdf

Hope this helps!

Is this what you were looking for? I want to make a pair for DD but I need to learn how to knit in the round!
