We got DD2's results today. Naturally, they are different foods than DS's. She came up reactive to wheat, wheat gluten, gliadin, orange, yogurt, and brewer's yeast. All of these came up as "low" on the IgG scale. I already know she has major behavioral issues with soy so we had already eliminated that before the testing.
I don't recall any major difference for her having gluten or not. Now, it says "wheat gluten," so is this different from general gluten? And why yogurt but not other dairy? Yogurt is actually one of the few things she loves to eat.
The yeast I've already eliminated because of DS.
She has had cradle cap since she was a baby, but that has mostly cleared up since removing soy from her diet. Soy also made her a complete nutjob, uncontrollable anger and tantrums. She has never been a good sleeper, much like DS. Ok that's not a complete truth, she was a decent sleeper up until about 9 months old, but has never slept the night. She stirs constantly now, nurses a lot at night, and has dreams where she talks out loud and night terrors. She does however like to sleep, and asks to go to bed when she is tired, etc. As a baby, I was sure she was reacting to foods, as she got a couple random raised rashes as a result of what seemed to be canteloupe and strawberries, but could have been something else. I did not try to give her food again until she was older (first try was around 6 months or so).
I have already started her on probiotics this week (Udi's infant). I'd love to have a less volatile child who sleeps.
